QUIMACER offers a complete line of antifreeze products for various professional and industrial applications. We tailor our formulations to the operating temperature and exposure conditions, ensuring that the systems function properly.
Benefits of Using Our Products
All of our antifreeze products are formulated with anticorrosion additives, which minimize the risk of system shutdowns caused by inorganic deposits, as well as defoamers, biocides, and scale inhibitors.
Through a European Eureka research project, QUIMACER has developed a new generation of plant-based antifreeze-heat transfer fluids that are completely glycol-free.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
How should I dilute the antifreeze?
Only if concentrated antifreeze is used.
The amount of water to be added is determined by the minimum temperature at which the system will operate. Check the product's dilution tables to determine the water-to-antifreeze ratio that should be added to the system.
How do I know my system will be protected from freezing?
The system must be filled with enough antifreeze to account for the lowest expected operating temperature. To ensure that we have not made a calculation error, we can check the fill fluid using a field refractometer.
How do I know which antifreeze to use?
At QUIMACER, we offer optimized formulas for each sector:
FLUISOL Line: Antifreeze for Solar Thermal Systems
GEOFLUX Line: Antifreeze for Geothermal Systems
ETIFLUX Line: Antifreeze for Industrial Refrigeration
Can I use any antifreeze to fill a solar thermal system?
No, the circuits within a solar thermal system cannot be filled with monoethylene glycol because it is harmful if ingested. For this reason, it cannot be used, since a malfunction could lead to contamination between the primary and secondary circuits.
I've had a small leak in my system and need to refill it. Can I use water or any antifreeze to refill the system?
No. Antifreeze products are formulations that contain glycol and a blend of anticorrosion additives to protect the systems. The system will be protected if there is enough glycol and if the antifreeze contains the appropriate blend of anticorrosion additives.
How can I properly maintain my antifreeze?
It is generally recommended to inspect and check the heat transfer fluid or antifreeze once a year, usually at the end of summer. You should check the fluid’s properties to ensure there is no damage to the system and to verify that it has not degraded and continues to provide protection against freezing.
