Description
An organic clay inhibitor that, due to its high dispersing power, is used to fluidize expansive clays and clays with high plasticity.
Usage and Features
It is used in an aqueous solution to reduce the plasticity of clays.
- To facilitate drilling through clay layers with high plasticity and/or expansive properties.
- Thin the drilling fluid to allow for greater maneuverability.
- To facilitate the removal of debris from inside the borehole.
- Prevent the drill bit from becoming clogged when drilling through clay layers.
