QUIMASEAL FIBERS
ADDITIVE FOR CONTROLLING FLUID LOSS
A selection of fibers from biodegradable and naturally derived products (such as wood fibers, cellophane, or nut shells) used to limit fluid loss in boreholes.
Available in the following formats:
Biodegradable
Compatible con aditivos perforación
Economical
Prevents the crown from getting stuck
Description
The product is a mixture of fibers, flakes, and grains of natural origin that are completely biodegradable. They are used to minimize fluid loss during drilling because they act as a plug that seals cracks and voids in the ground.
Usage and Features
QUIMASEAL FIBRAS is primarily used in drilling through granular material, clays, and silts, whenever there are small cavities through which drilling fluid is lost. The main applications are:
- Drilling in granular and unconsolidated strata.
- Drilling in highly fractured formations.
- To reinforce and provide greater stability to the borehole walls.
- Prevent siphoning when drilling into confined aquifers at very low pressure.
